Like you I was born into this world without knowing of conditional acceptance. I didn’t realize that the acceptance I would learn to crave, must be earned. I didn’t know what was coming. I didn’t realize that the acceptance I earned from others would be the basis for which their love would be either offered or withheld. Simply, love and acceptance are coterminous. When acting in acceptable manner, I was shown love.

At birth, we are unaware of the conditions that will soon be placed on our ability to deserve the love of others. Birth is the manifestation of love, and in our first moments we know nothing other than our oneness with that single experience. In that moment we are nothing more or less than pure uncontaminated life, cradled in love.

Like you, until taught by the world’s conventional reality, I did not realize that gaining the acceptance of others would be both necessary and essential to attaining personal happiness.

Nor did I realize that achieving intellectual, athletic, career, social, communicative, or creative acceptance would be pivotal to earning the love of others.

Like you, as a newborn, I did not know that I would, before too long, be judged both on my appearance and abilities; nor did I imagine that the level of my accomplishments would determine how the world would treat me, or the impact it would have on what I would believe about myself.

As maturing youngsters, we begin to comprehend the idea that we get along with some folks better than we do others. Also it is discovered sooner or later that we’re not capable, in all situations, of being accepted by a particular group that we wish to join.

In our pre-adult years we also learn that our identity is characterized to some degree, in accordance with both our dissimilarity and likenesses to others. This would include things like our looks, background, family

pedigree, personality characteristics, or common interests. Because of the way we compare ourselves to others, we cause ourselves to be continually in search of the ever-eluding acceptable self-identity. That acceptable identity is the key, we believe, to finding love.

So from infancy on, the world tells us that our acceptability is continually and perpetually in question. Therefore being loved is equally in question. And thusly right from these early years on, our minds become distracted by the pursuit of acceptance, and the memory of who we really are becomes hazy and confused. Rather than remembering who we are, we become preoccupied with crafting a more acceptable self, and we look to the world for kudos and feedback to tells us that we are on track.

The continual disconcerting search for a more acceptable self is not without its ill consequences. Emotional discontent intermittently flares up, because in the search for an acceptable self, we ignore our Real Self, the pure loving child-at-birth self. We have but one true identity; which is, we are One with Super-consciousness, in which we are bonded together by love. In this bonding we are All. We are One.

Due to the pursuit of the things, ambitions and ideas that captivate our drive for acceptance, we consequently distance ourselves from the Truth. We become so overly distracted that the Real Self goes unrecognized. It is forgotten.

Over time, a preponderance of distracting thoughts arise within the mind and layer-by-layer cover the memory of who we really are. The light of Love may be strained to glow through so many filters, but that light is never absent. The Truth about who you really are never leaves you.

You may be distracted by a mind that has been inundated with ideas and thoughts about what you should do or who you should be in order to reach a predetermined level of acceptability. But don’t be deluded. The truth about who you are cannot be described by any acceptance standard. The truth about who you are cannot be determined by any expectation or demands that you or anyone else places on you. You are Truth in your own right. You are Divine. In Truth the concept of acceptability is non-existent. You can do nothing to make yourself more acceptable.

The Truth about you cannot be altered. A car, house, friendship, career, cannot mask the Truth about you. Money power, control, intellect, or self-importance cannot raise you to higher level of acceptability. Masks that are placed on the Truth eventually will wither away. The Truth about who you are is eternal. That Truth is this: You are Love. And Love cannot be altered or adorned in order that it be raised or lowered to a standard of acceptability. Who or what is the ego?

The ego is nothing other than our own thoughts about who we are and how we fit into the world. The ego is a self-created and self-generating mind-set. It uses self-judgment as the steering device to guide our thoughts, actions, emotions and feelings. It guides us through our lives with information that is non-inclusive of Super-consciousness.

Where did the ego come from? It was incubated in conventional reality. We learn from infancy that who we are is not enough. We learn that we could be better than we are. We learn that others will make interpretations about who we are and thusly we modify our behavior so that we may be perceived, in their eyes, as acceptable. They will size us up by comparing us to certain acceptable standards, then guide us to meet the conditions of their “acceptable” expectations.

The developing ego learns the importance of making judgments. It learns that being better or in some way accomplished causes others to see us as more acceptable, and thusly we see it in our self. The ego learns that when it is perceived to be missing something that it is expected to have, that it is judged as lacking acceptability. It learns that the acceptance offered by others is conditional in nature, and is completely dependent on how we are perceived.

The ego is nurtured by a false reality, a myth. And so what it believes and proclaims is also false, an illusion. Love to All - Don

You Are Truth

Why do we not experience the pure unconditional energy of the love that flows freely throughout cosmic creation? Why do we not interact with one another and our surroundings like we are one with Super-consciousness?

We do not practice oneness with Super-consciousness, our true reality, because in part, we did not learn of it. We were not made aware of our inseparable divine interrelationship with the All. Rather, we learned of separateness, and then those lessons that we learned began to speak to us. And so we were caught up in a snowball effect of first learning then subsequently using these same lessons as guides. The voice of separateness became our teacher.

Initially, we learned to define who we are as separate individuals, and then these defining thoughts about who we are became beliefs. And our beliefs about being separate entities then became our prominent life-long teacher and guide. Over the years, our identities form a nucleus, a inner ego-centered consciousness that is comprised of the thoughts that move about within this fabricated belief system. This ego-centered state of conscious is extremely powerful, and governs how we view our self, how we interact with the world and how we perceive the reality of Creation.

The ego governs our thoughts and feelings with such dynamic power and incredible threat that we cannot see beyond it to experience the dimension of our true Reality. We have difficulty letting our guard down and experiencing oneness with the All.

We learned, by conventional teachings that we, as humans, maintain a sense of priority within the Cosmos. We learned that because we have an intellect, or more specifically the power to reason, that we, above any other life forms or objects in creation have preferential rights to do what we want in order to create a more satisfying existence.

We do not see that we share the oneness of creation, rather we believe that we dominate it. We do not see that creation is one living life form, in which we share an equal, non-dominating part. We learn rather that humankind is the central figure in creation and everything else is of lesser importance. We believe that trees, lakes, fields, mountains, birds, bears, rabbits, and all other earthly and cosmic life forms are of lesser value when relating to the human form. We also learn that other people are of lesser importance and less significant than we are. And out of that realization are innumerable conflicts born. So, in many forms and on many levels we experience discontent with one another and the environment. We perpetuate the will to dominate others and our surroundings, as exemplified by wars amongst nations and the insatiable passion to scourge and abuse our planet.

Want an answer to these phenomenon of titanic proportion? Learn to become reunited with Truth. Learn to think from a place In the mind that knows only love. Learn to express compassion and cradle a non-manipulative sense of caring.

Look to get nothing in return for extending love to everyone and everything in your surroundings. Next, avoid practicing separateness. Rather keep your mind and heart open to All, without filtering your thoughts through either comparisons or judgments. Remember you are Truth. You are the Light that shines the way for you and others. Super Consciousness is the mother of life. It is the manifestation of Love that is called forth as a puppy, a beaver, a fold and a fly. It is the Spirit from which we were called forth to be.

It is ubiquitous, and therefore present in everything we see on this planet and in the night sky. It is present in that last breath of air that just entered your body. Super Consciousness is present in everything you see out your kitchen window. It is comprised of 100% pure unconditional love. Super Consciousness is cross-gender, and therefore present both as a He and a She. She is present in every speck and iota of the cosmos. He is present in you; just as He is present everywhere.

Super Consciousness flows freely throughout all creation. It is Creation, the Universe, the Devine. Super Consciousness is the Cosmic Whole. It is All, Everything. Super Consciousness is the All-Inclusive Intelligence that is present not only as creation itself, but also present in every particle of creation.

We experience Super Consciousness as we call it forth through thoughts and expressions of love. It is the Magnanimous Genius that, through love, unifies everything as far as you can see and beyond what you may imagine.

Super Consciousness is the Great Cosmic Oneness, composed of the fold, the fly, the puppy, the beaver, you, the planets, the stars and every species and every form that makes up creation. And we, each of us, along with all of creation are bonded together in that Oneness through the energy exchange called Love.

Creation is One all-inclusive colossal life form, and love is the energy flow that connects all aspects and parts of it.

Allow me show to you one illustrative way to better understand Super Consciousness. Draw a big circle, and then fill the circle with oodles of tiny dots. Next, connect all the dots. What does this depiction represent? The dots represent all of us within creation; which is the circle. The lines that interconnect the dots represent love. The circle, all life and matter within (the dots), along with our interconnectedness through the extension of love (the connecting lines), represent Love. Love is the free flowing and unrestricted energy force that unites it all life-forms together as One. Through loving thoughts and expressions of love, we allow the presence of the divine, Super Consciousness to be received in our heart, and then extended to others and our surroundings. – LOVE TO YOU, DON.
